Meet Christina
My passion is creating experiences that truly fit the person we are celebrating.
When my uncle died, I wanted to create an experience that reflected his unique life story, his dynamic personality, and his values.
In 2016, with a phone full of contacts and an event date, I planned a celebration of life for my uncle Brett in under two weeks. It was just like planning any other event, right?
I thought my corporate and wedding event planning background could help. There was one problem: I had never done this kind of planning before.
Instead of grieving this massive loss, I spent so much time reading articles, watching dated YouTube videos, and trying to explore every option I could in order to figure out what was right for our family.
Instead of asking for help, I was making *detailed* technical instructions for our funeral director to follow, calling to ask for catering quotes, and scanning countless photos, when all I really wanted to do was rest and, frankly, be really sad that I just lost my uncle.
After his celebration of life, I decided to create New Narrative: an events company solely focused on planning Celebration of Life events.
I want New Narrative to be the company that you can turn to to guide you through the planning process. A company that encourages you to create the event that your person would have wanted and one that you have planned - on your terms - and one that you are proud to share with your community.

Meet Lindsay
I want to be a part of meaningful, personalized events that help families in their most difficult times and honor the uniqueness of their loved ones.
Lindsay combines her professional expertise with a passion for helping families create unique celebrations of life. With a background in leading business development and operations, she enjoys finding and implementing new and creative ways to drive efficiencies and growth.
Lindsay's passion for helping others plan celebrations of life events comes from experiencing first-hand the lack of support and resources available.
Having organized such events for her own family members, she understands the emotional and logistical challenges involved.
Her career began working in the development offices of two major Boston-area hospitals, where she gained experience in donor relations, fundraising, and event planning. These roles provided her with a solid foundation in organizing and managing a range of events.
Lindsay earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Hospitality and Tourism Management from the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC.
She lives just outside of Boston, Massachusetts with her husband Nick, and their dog Murphy.
